Teaser Tuesdays (23): RED GLOVE

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title, and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

This week's Teaser is:

TITLE: RED GLOVE
AUTHOR: Holly Black
PUBLICATION DATE: 5 April 2011

"With one touch of her hand, Mom made Lila love me.  And made sure I could never, ever have her."

-page 12*

*Quote taken from egalley and subject to change upon publication.

I actually finished RED GLOVE several weeks ago (I received an egalley from Simon and Schuster Galley Grab), but thought I would post a teaser in honor of its publication today.  I'll be posting my review in the next few weeks, so check back to read my thoughts.
