It's time to start hopping!

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers  to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on!  This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!  It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! 

The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun!  This is a weekly event!

Do you use a rating system for your reviews and if so, what is it and why?

Yes, I rate books from a 1 star (couldn't get into the book) to 5 stars (one of the best books I've ever read).   I use this because I feel the star system is widely used and most recognizable among not just book bloggers, but all types of reviewers.

About 1/3 of them I've already started reading. I tend to start reading a book, then put it down when I get a new book, so I have a lot of half finished books. Also I usually have one book I read during lunch or break times when I'm at work and then a different one I read at home.

RIGHT THIS INSTANT, WHAT BOOK ARE YOU DYING TO GET YOUR HANDS ON (PAST, PRESENT, OR FUTURE)?

I am dying to read Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare.  I've read all of her other books and am fascinated by the characters and the world she has created.  I'm also waiting for the release of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.  I'm very curious to see how The Hunger Games series ends and what becomes of Katniss, Peeta and Gale.

Another Friday has come and that means it's time for Follow My Book Blog Friday and the Book Blogger Hop.

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy For Books.  Each week Jennifer asks a question for Hop participants to answer so that us Hoppers can get to each other better.

This week's question: Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

One of my favorite authors is Kate Brian. I love her Private (and now Privilege) novels. She's created a world that is easy to fall into and it's hard to put one of her books down once I start reading.

I also love Melissa Marr. If you haven't read her Wicked Lovely series, go out now and get the books. She's a fantastic writer and has great character development as well as awesome world building.
